Meet Laurie McCracken
Laurie McCracken leads Baby Fox Academy as owner and educational director, and she brings more than 30 years of early childhood teaching experience in Florida, Nevada, and Arizona. She holds a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master's in Early Literacy from Nova Southeastern University, and she is highly skilled in literacy remediation, behavior support, and individualized instruction. Laurie received the 2026 Advocate of the Year Award from FLAEYC, and she stays active with FACCM, NAEYC, FLAEYC, and local Early Learning Coalitions. Her steady presence, warm style, and deep knowledge shape every classroom, lesson, and smile in our school.
Meet Teacher Jana
Teacher Jana Tardiff leads our VPK class with a calm, joyful energy that children adore. She was honored as the 2026 VPK Educator of the Year by FLAEYC, which reflects both her strong teaching skills and her care for each child. Jana blends playful, hands-on projects with clear routines that help children feel safe and ready to learn. She pays close attention to early literacy, math readiness, and social skills, and she works closely with families to celebrate every milestone. With Jana, children build confidence and independence while still feeling supported every step of the way.
